Bethany Community Support Launches Covid-19 Support Line

Bethany Community Support have this week launched the Bethany COVID-19 Support Line, a free, new and easy pathway to speak with trained counsellors when locals in the South West need someone to listen and talk to.

“It is normal for people to feel isolated, stressed and anxious during this time” said Grant Boyd, Bethany Group CEO.

“We have launched this service in response to the community needs. We know that many of us are experiencing the financial and emotional effects of COVID-19 as significant lifestyle adaptions were made very quickly, with little time to prepare.”

“We want people to know that they are not alone, our counsellors are here to guide and support, It’s completely okay to call – no problem is too big or small.”

Bethany COVID-19 Support Line counsellors will listen, provide support, advice and helpful strategies as well as guide individuals to services that might be useful for their particular situation.

“The line is open to everyone. We hope that the service will provide an easy way for families who have never had to access support services before, to contact us.” Boyd said.

Bethany’s support services includes the provision of emergency relief to help those who are struggling to cope with financial stress, support for individuals and families including therapeutic counselling, family support and housing services, occupational therapists and speech pathologists to assist with your NDIS journey and support for gambling related harm.
