The Popular Festival Returns In 2020 With The Introduction Of New Passes

The Port Fairy Folk Festival is back in 2020 with an exciting program set to be released in the coming weeks. But in a big change for the festival, half-day passes are being introduced.

It's the first time in the festival's 44 year history that half-day passes have been offered, available for the Friday/Saturday or the Sunday/Monday at the 2020 event for those that can't commit to a full long weekend.

Ticketing Manager Shane Lenehan says that the Festival committee had listened to audience feedback and they are now delighted to be able to share the Festival with music lovers who weren’t able to attend in previous years.

“The Port Fairy Folk Festival Committee are absolutely thrilled to be announcing a change in available ticket type for the first time in over 40 years of this magnificent event. We have listened to the feedback from our guests and our local supporters and are really happy to now offer a Half Festival Pass,"

“We have no doubt these Half Festival Passes will be snapped up very quickly, we also encourage those who can commit to the full weekend to secure their passes early too."

Port Fairy Folk Festival Subscriber tickets go on sale at 12:01am, Monday 2 September 2019. Early Bird tickets and the Half Festival passes will go on sale once the subscriber allocation has been exhausted. The first artist announcement will take place on Monday 26th August and the full announcement on Monday 2nd September.
